Finance Minister Chrystia Freeland during Question Period on Tuesday insisted the Liberals "are united," despite scathing reports otherwise.

Conservative deputy leader Melissa Lantsman pointed to media reports of "tensions rising" between the Prime Minister's Office and Freeland's office.

"How much longer is she going to put up with that?" asked Lantsman.

Freeland replied: "On this side of the House, we are united and working hard for Canada and Canadians."

The Commons erupts in laughter and heckling.
