100% Pinay: Indigena de Clase Rica

This famous photo of a Pinay taken in the Manila area in 1875 by Francisco van Camp has the caption, Indigena de Clase Rica. Its original caption says nothing about a Mestiza or Sangley. In fact, no one knows her name let alone her heritage outside of the earliest caption. I know full blooded Pinay who look like her. It’s conjecture to claim she is Mestiza or Sangley.
