Ryan Reynolds and Andrew Garfield are spilling the tea on their viral 2017 kiss at the Golden Globes. The actors sat down for Variety’s “Actors on Actors” series where they reminisced on the last time that they saw each other which happened to be the award ceremony in 2017. Reynolds had been nominated for “Best Actor, Comedy” for his performance in “Deadpool,” but ultimately lost to Ryan Gosling who won for his role in “La La Land.” “Last time I saw you was the Golden Globes. Garfield sitting beside me and goes, ‘Hey, if they call your name and you win, don't kiss your wife. Just kiss me,’” the 48-year-old revealed before sharing that despite his loss, he and the “Spider-Man” star still decided to go in for the kiss. “I love that we were just sitting there and were just like, ‘Yeah, let’s just do it anyway,’” Reynolds shared with Garfield chiming in, “I’m glad that you were game for that!” Both actors however admitted that they retrospectively felt “a little bit insensitive” towards Gosling, with Garfield adding that he apologized to the “Barbie” star.
