Parenting, Moms, and Boys

Yes, I know we live in a world where gender is fluid, biology is questionable, and all sorts of nonsense, but the fact of the matter is: boys and girls are different.

I have a son, and a daughter, and we raised them equally.

We didn’t adorn our daughter in pink, sparkles, unicorns, or princess attire, and we didn’t give our son trains, trucks, and dinosaurs when he was born.

But guess what?

They naturally gravitated to these things.

They were almost lightbulb moments.

One day my daughter went, “Wait, you’ve been hiding princesses from me??!?!”

My son saw his first piece of construction equipment and lost his mind.

It is what it is.

And, that said, my wife being a woman, she doesn’t exactly understand the phase my son is currently in.

And that’s OK.

Because that’s life.

I sum it all up in one short reel about parenting, written that way for the algorithm.
