Exploring a Dangerously Cold Winter Cave

Join us on a cold, wet cave survey trip in north Alabama. This was our 22nd trip, and we've mapped over six miles of the cave. We're aiming for seven miles in the next few trips. It was 18°F outside when we started, and still freezing when we finished. Don't try this kind of cave exploration without proper training, experience, and gear.
