Mangione Appears In Court ‘Became Visibly Nervous, Kind Of Shaking’ Tells Judge ‘Cash Was Planted’

Luigi Mangione, the Ivy league grad that is being charged in the shooting death of
UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson appeared in court and is facing five charges in Pennsylvania.

Mangione was arrested after an employee at a McDonalds called the cops – when officers arrived to the restaurant, they asked Mangione if he had been to New York recently, that’s when they say he “became visibly nervous” and started “kind of shaking.”

The 26-year-old had multiple fake IDs and a 3D-printed gun with a suppressor, according to officials.

And despite everything that was said in the hearing the only things he took issue with was the
was the $8000 in cash & $2000 in foreign currency found on him during his arrest and the Faraday bag – which is designed to stop transmission of cell service saying 'I actually want to address two of the things that you said. I don't know where that money came from. I'm not sure if it was planted.'"
And then he also said, 'That bag was waterproof.'"

Also emerging Mangione’s high school yearbook where his parents praised the type of young man he had become.

According to police, the former valedictorian wrote a manifesto containing phrases like "these parasites had it coming,"

Mangione is being held without bail and did not enter a plea in his first court appearance.

He faces five charges, in Pennsylvania including one felony count of forgery and one felony count of carrying a firearm without a license, according to the criminal complaint.
