Christians vs. Passionate Roman Catholic

We were able to reason with a Roman Catholic lady who was wearing "National Eucharistic Congress." Watch as we talked to a lady who believed that communion is the literal body and blood of Jesus (transubstantiation). Jeremy and Dimetri were able to bring up arguments and verses to disprove this.

Consider our Biblical argument for John 6 and Transubstantiation:

5 points made about the teaching of Jesus in John 6:
1. Context of Jesus' Teaching: Jesus is speaking to the crowd He fed, "Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, you are seeking me, not because you saw signs, but because you ate your fill of the loaves."
(Jn 6:26).

2. Jesus is the Bread of Life: Jesus declares, “I am the bread of life” (John 6:35). He’s referring to Himself as essential for spiritual sustenance, not literal bread.

3. Metaphor of Eating and Drinking: When Jesus says, “Unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you” (John 6:53), He’s speaking metaphorically. This is shown by the context where He explains, “The Spirit gives life; the flesh counts for nothing” (John 6:63). The "flesh" in this case refers to physical understanding, which is inadequate without spiritual insight.

4.Understanding Through Faith: Jesus says, “The words I have spoken to you—they are full of the Spirit and life” (John 6:63). This shows that the “eating” and “drinking” are about spiritual communion with Him, not physical consumption.

5. This is Not About the Lord's Supper: Notice the Lord's Supper is not mentioned in this chapter. It is spoken of and started in John chapter 13.

🌟 Jesus Christ is the only way to heaven. Many religions will tell you that you can be saved by your good works, and they will try to undermine the Bible by any means possible. Instead of trusting in any other god, turn to the true God who will save you not by any works that you can do, but by the work he has already done for you. The God of the heavens and the Earth is the same God that flooded the entire world but Noah and his family. God is full of righteousness and is angry at the wicked every day (Psalm 7:11-13). However, God is merciful and gracious, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance (2 Peter 3:9). This is why God provided the perfect savior, Jesus of Nazareth, who died on the cross to pay for our sins and then rose again from the dead. The message is to repent (to acknowledge and turn from sins) and believe the gospel.
