Landing another beautiful 8 pound blue catfish!!!🐳.

Between rain showers today I threw in a line to see if anything might be biting. I bringing in another line getting ready to head home. About that time a fish hit and doubled over my pole. I grabbed for the rod. It had so much stack in the line that it took forever to set the hook. By then he had taken so much line , which was ok . I knew I had to tire him out or he would snap my line. I would reel him in , then let him swim away again. Keeping just enough tension that he couldn’t spit the hook out. (Hopefully). I also didn’t have a net to dip him up in. I had to work him from the big part of the pier down, then back out and back to the landing. It was a good 20 minute fight with him before I was able to get him to the phone to video the last part. I was holding my breath that he didn’t break the line and he didn’t!!!
