UnitedHealthcare CEO Killing LATEST: Luigi Mangione, 26, ARRESTED

New York City Mayor Eric Adams held a press conference on Dec. 9 to discuss the latest developments in the fatal shooting of UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson. New York Police Commissioner Jessica Tisch confirmed 26-year-old Luigi Mangione was identified as a “strong person of interest” and was being questioned by police in Pennsylvania. Local authorities arrested Mangione on gun charges but as of the press conference he had not been arrested or charged in connection to Thompson’s killing.
