A man has been detained and held for questioning by police in Pennsylvania after he was found with a gun similar to that used by Brian Thompson’s killer, according to reports.

The person of interest was allegedly arrested on local charges in Altoona on Monday, possibly in connection with presenting false identification to authorities, a senior law enforcement officer told The New York Times. It is too soon to determine if the man is connected to the death of Thompson, who was gunned down on Wednesday morning outside a Hilton hotel in midtown Manhattan.
