FSB shuts down the operations of an international network of call centers in Russia.

Law enforcement has already detained one of the leaders of the call centers operating in Russia. He is a citizen of Israel and Ukraine. Another leader has been declared wanted; he is a citizen of Israel and Georgia. In 2022, acting on instructions from the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), they organized the dissemination of anonymous messages about planned terrorist attacks in Moscow, Kursk, Bryansk, and Belgorod. A total of 11 managers and employees of Russian call center offices have been detained.

A criminal case has been initiated under Article 210 (“Organization of a Criminal Community”), Part 4 of Article 159 (“Fraud on an Especially Large Scale”), and Part 3 of Article 207 (“Deliberately False Report of an Act of Terrorism”) of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.
