Ethiopia: Hospitals in Tigray Struggle to Recover from the Ravages of War | Firstpost Africa

Several hospitals and clinics in Ethiopia's northernmost region of Tigray are struggling to recover from the ravages of war. The conflict between Ethiopian government forces and Tigrayan rebels from 2020 to 2022 saw many hospitals being targeted and several doctors being killed. These hospitals are now struggling with lack of resources, including funds, to rebuild their infrastructure. While Tigray had relatively better healthcare system before the war, reports claim that nearly 90% has now been destroyed.
