President Trump admits that he left troops in Syria to "TAKE THEIR OIL! Maybe we will take their oil maybe we won't"

Given that Syria is back in the news, it might've been a good idea for someone to ask Trump at some point in the 2024 campaign if he still holds to the view that US troops should remain indefinitely in Syria to plunder the country's natural resources.
