This Whisky Sour is a festive Christmas twist for the upcoming holidays. With this high-proof mulled wine, even challenging family members turn into cuddlers.

Recipe:
60ml-2oz SCOTCH WHISKY
30ml-1oz LEMON JUICE
30ml-1oz MULLED WINE SYRUP
1 EGG WHITE or other foamer
5 RED GRAPES

MULED WINE SYRUP:

600ml (sweet) red wine
30ml brown overproof rum
75ml freshly squeezed orange juice
1 orange, sliced
150ml raw cane sugar
4 whole cloves
1 cinnamon sticks
2 star anise

Add red wine, spices, orange slices, and freshly squeezed orange juice in a pot. Heat at a low setting, but do not boil.

Then add rum and sugar, and heat briefly again. Strain out the spices and orange slices, and let the mulled wine simmer until the consistency becomes thick.
Pour it into a bottle, and it's ready

Mixing:
Muddle grapes in base of shaker. Add all ingredients and give it a wet shake with a large and fresh ice cube. Strain back into shaker and dry shake. Fine strain into ice-filled rocks glass.

Garnish with a smoking Christmas tree.
