KCPD investigating after dead body found in east KCMO alley

KCPD is investigating after a resident found a dead body in an alleyway. It was found in the 1600 block of Lister Avenue in east Kansas City, Missouri, where residents reported hearing gunshots around 4 a.m. - 5 a.m. Police told 41 Action News crews on the scene the victim is a white man. Police also said the cause of death isn't known yet, and they were waiting on the medical examiner to arrive.
