I'm finally editing these down and will now provide timestamps:
02:31=first wave
03:43=first kind of hard battle
06:34=loot for first kind of hard fight
06:47=first boss fight
08:40=second boss fight
13:09=being stupid part 1, much more expected to come
15:01=map location is wrong
15:19=finally, horse

My experience so far: Fighting enemies isn't worth it. I'm always better off grabbing loot from chests and running away. Enemies don't give enough experience or loot to be worth the hassle. Being able to travel on foot at the start, before I can afford a mount, is extremely important for the start. All the enemies seem copy-pasted from the normal game mode including their loot, so I know ahead of time if I see certain boss monsters whether it's worth engaging.

My speculation on playstyle viability: Heavy warrior strength builds, not including daggers, are going to be always useless. Dagger rogue will be the best at the start, but fall off when enemies start using magic shotguns. Archer isn't going to be viable until you can build enough ore mines at your house to oversupply arrows. Mage+bard hybrids will have the weakest start but are going to be best later on.
