Moana 2 was more than just entertainment—Several people I've spoke to felt like this movie is a love letter to island culture. The relationship between Moana and her younger sister, Simea, stood out as the heart of the movie. Auliʻi Cravalho and Khaleesi Lambert-Tsuda brought those characters to life in a way that felt real and relatable. Visually, the film was a masterpiece. Seeing the ocean and the islands animated with such care makes me appreciate the people that bring this animation to life! Of course, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson absolutely nailed it as Maui once again. His performance felt genuine, capturing the humor and charm of Maui's character. Maui’s role in this sequel added a lot of heart, especially when he shared wisdom with Moana about the balance between strength and humility. The music like the first Moana is strong overall. This is a must see on the big screen! Movies like this are made especially for the big screen. I watched Moana 2 at AMC! I used my AMC A-List!
