Can we turn marriage back to what it was? Before the state was involved, marriage, for the most part, was equal in every aspect of the word. The husband provided a roof, land, and food as he worked that land to earn a living. Mom assisted in popping out some kids, Dad had employees who helped in cultivating the land, and Mom helped raise kids. And there was no court involvement; now, women had too many options, and most suffered as Alpha Widows, so naturally, most women tried to gravitate to the men with the biggest payouts.
