This is the first introductory video for the Nexus 3D metal detector unmasking test.

In this test is the new MPV3+ with 16 inch Concentric Silver Scout search coil. This search coil is set at 23 kHz. The 16 inch Silver Scout search coil features 3 frequencies, changeable with a switch on the search coil.

The Standard MP range metal detectors are analogue VLF Induction Balance.

The first test is with two iron rods crossed and one 30 millimeter bronze disc.
The second test is with one straight iron rod and one 30 millimeter bronze disc.

The 3D cube set is a measurement tool designed to test with great accuracy the unmasking performance of any metal detector, irrespective of ground conditions, geographical location, hunting style, and preference.

With the 3D cube set, detectors can be compared with unwavering confidence by exhibiting the exact unmasking performance of each detector. Then the user can make an informed decision of which detector will be most suitable for their particular Iron contaminated sites.
