Barry Neufeld - Oct 18, 2024 - Vancouver, British Columbia

Barry Neufeld has devoted his career to public service and child welfare. For 27 years, he worked in corrections, with a focus on youth corrections and special needs children. He served on multidisciplinary teams addressing child protection, mental health, and substance abuse issues. Concurrently, Neufeld was elected to seven terms on the Chilliwack School Board between 1992 and 2022, where he advocated for anti-bullying programs and inclusive education. He holds a master's degree and has extensive experience working with victims of sexual abuse and writing pre-sentence reports for courts. Neufeld's background demonstrates his deep commitment to child welfare and community service.
