Mary Jane Ski Area OPENING DAY 1st Chair 12-6-24

December 6, 2024 was a historic day on the slopes because Mary Jane Ski area opened for the 2024-2025 ski and snowboard season.

The all important first chair on opening day was ridden by Trailer Tom, John Sims, Melissa Gin Khaao, Ski Funk, Jon Alger and Zac Baker.

The Super Gauge Express 6 person chairlift delivered the first chair riders to the top of Mary Jane Ski area where the deep fresh powder waited the enthusiastic smiling crew.

Most of the mountain is open along with nearby resort Winter Park.

Snowboarders Trailer Tom and Melissa Gin Khaao enjoyed surfing the steep fresh powder runs

Skiers Ski Funk and John Sims enjoyed nice groomed trails with powder on the sides

Ski Bikers Jon Alger and Zac Baker took to the trees to get the snow that had not been touched by the sun
