No mea culpa for Greg Kelly, only tu culpa for Pete Hegseth * Posted on Pearl Harbor Day

On his show yesterday (December 6, 2024), in one instance the Newsmax host #GregKelly tells his guests "I think it's a fair and legitimate question" to ask of #PeterHegseth; then later on his show he answered that question himself as a fact. Then Greg insulted the photo of Pete on his book cover, saying "it's a bit much" — when Greg's own book cover is also a bit much.

Is Greg jealous because he wanted the job as Secretary of Defense? I'm very disappointed with Greg's attitude. He was my favorite host on my favorite cable news channel, which was much more Trump-friendly than Fox News.

After first criticizing Pete Hegseth for "having too much baggage", there was a flurry of attacks on social media against Greg Kelly (including from myself). Then this morning one of the other hosts on Newsmax even reported on this. But later that night, Gregg Kelly didn't try to walk back anything after having second thoughts. He was too proud and full of hubris to admit he could have been less hostile towards Pete. Instead, he doubled-down on his attacks on Pete and even personally insulted him.

Even his two regular guests on his show appeared a bit uncomfortable, but they still both defended Pete, and were diplomatically polite enough not criticize Greg's own remarks about Pete Hegseth.

Gregg Kelly has always shown strong support for #DonaldTrump, and with all the attacks on his cabinet nominees by the Democrats and RINOs, it was a pile-on to hear one of Trump's strongest supporters (Greg Kelly) bashing Trump's first choice for Secretary of Defense. We all think Trump should have his picks because he got 76 million votes . . . not the Marxists, not the RINOs, not the media and not Greg Kelly.

Sorry Gregg, you f*cked up. FYI: That's strike two. After three strikes, you can go back to Fox. We can petition Grant Stinchfield or Eric Boiling to return to fill your time slot. In the meantime, we can always watch Jesse Watters.
