Jesus explains... Love is the only Means to bring Salvation to the powerless Souls in the Beyond

January 17, 1955 - Message 6167 from Jesus through Bertha Dudde

You who are powerless on earth or in the spiritual kingdom, you may only acquire strength through love... Your will is and remains free, and by virtue of this will you may now think for yourselves, choosing between good and evil... On earth you may carry out your will, for you still have the power to live at your disposal...

In the beyond, however, you are completely without strength to carry out evil deeds, and yet an evil will or wicked mind will be detrimental to you, because you will grow increasingly hard-hearted, and thereby you feel ever more powerless.

You may just as well want and think good in the kingdom of the beyond, a spark of love will be kindled within you as a result, and already you will feel in possession of strength, even if to but a small extent, thus you will have proof that only love ever results in strength, because it is strength itself.

Souls, however, which are incapable of conceiving any and all good thoughts, filled only with hatred, are in an unfortunate position if they will not find someone who could help them, imparting strength through his love. Love affects the soul, such that it grows more gentle, changing its wants and thoughts.

Again it is love that brings help, the only means to bring salvation to the powerless souls in the beyond, which is why an intercession in love for the souls dwelling in the abyss is extremely beneficial, bringing about change in these souls. Thus a prayer in love will never remain without success, and every soul may be redeemed, if only it has left people behind on earth who remember it fondly in prayer.

Such a prayer will not remain without effect, for in their agonizing state the souls feel every bit of relief, every influx of strength, and they will know who imparts this strength to them, and in turn they offer love to the benefactor, and a spark of love, no matter how tiny, ignites and spreads...

The same effect may certainly also be achieved on earth, that a person's love awakens reciprocal love... Yet love could also be rejected, because the soul's hardship is not so tangible as long as the body is not excessively afflicted by hardship... Yet it is different in the spiritual kingdom, where only the soul still feels, and all hardship in the most agonizing way...

In this state it does not reject what it perceives as a blessing, and then it is accessible to the teachings that may be to them mentalliy by others. For such souls this means hope for improvement of their situation, for a change of attitude, and finally, for redemption, for love accomplishes all, even the deliverance of a soul come from the darkness... Amen
