Our TOPIC: REIGNING BY WISDOM.

Today's SCRIPTURE: And Pharaoh said unto his servants, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?
And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art: Genesis chapter 41 verse 38 to 39, hallelujah!

Our THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: People rule and reign by wisdom.

It has been established that wisdom is the making of principal people. People rule and reign by wisdom, and people are dominated in life for lack of wisdom.

One principal person in Scripture who reigned by wisdom was Joseph. Wisdom enabled Joseph to rule Egypt.

Genesis chapter 41 verse 38 to 39 says:
"And Pharaoh said unto his servants, 'Can we find such a one as this, a man in whom the Spirit of God is?'

And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, 'Forasmuch as God hath shewed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art.'"

Joseph had wisdom that allowed him to preserve food on a massive scale for fourteen years without modern refrigeration techniques, yet there was no record of the food spoiling.

I decree that God will endow you with such dimension of wisdom that will make no one in your generation to claim ignorance of your existence, in Jesus Name. Amen!

David was another man of wisdom in Scripture. We usually talk about the wisdom of Solomon, but often overlook the fact that David was a carrier of resident wisdom.
1st Samuel 18 verse 14 to 15 says:
"And David behaved himself wisely in all his ways; and the Lord was with him.

Wherefore when Saul saw that he behaved himself very wisely, he was afraid of him."

You see, the wisdom of God commands the Presence of God. The Lord was with David when David behaved himself wisely. The wisdom of God makes you a terror to your enemies. Wisdom makes the world to fear you. Saul feared David when he saw David’s wisdom.

Also concerning David’s wisdom, 2nd Samuel 14 verse 20b says:
"... and my lord is wise, according to the wisdom of an angel of God, to know all things that are in the earth."

David’s wisdom in the Scripture above was compared to the wisdom of an angel of God. Knowing all things that are in the earth can never be an ordinary kind of wisdom. The wisdom in David enabled him to know all things on the earth. No wonder, he wrote the Psalms. He escaped Saul’s javelin and recovered everything the devil stole from him, all by the wisdom of God.

I decree the impartation of such dimension of wisdom on your life, in Jesus Name. Amen

Remember this: People rule and reign by wisdom.

Take this ASSIGNMENT with you:
#1. Make up your mind to access the Wisdom of God from His Word.

#2. Determine to walk in dominion and rule on earth by the instrumentality of divine wisdom. Yes sir!

Our PRAYER today: Lord, I ask that You open my eyes to access Your wisdom in Your Word. I receive the grace to apply Your Wisdom unto dominion and rulership in life, Lord, in Jesus Name.

Today's Bible DAILY READING: from the book of 1st Thessalonians chapter 4 to 2nd Thessalonians chapter 1.

We start with 1st Thessalonians chapter 4, Furthermore then we beseech you, brethren, and exhort you by the Lord Jesus, that as ye have received of us how ye ought to walk and to please God, so ye would abound more and more. For ye know what commandments we gave you by the Lord Jesus. For this is the will of God, even your sanctification, that ye should abstain from fornication: That every one of you should know how to possess his vessel in sanctification and honour; Not in the lust of concupiscence, even as the Gentiles which know not God: That no man go beyond and defraud his brother in any matter: because that the Lord is the avenger of all such, as we also have forewarned you and testified. For God hath not called us unto uncleanness, but unto holiness. He therefore that despiseth, despiseth not man, but God, who hath also given unto us his holy Spirit. But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another. For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord. Wherefore comfort one another with these words. Hallelujah!

1st Thessalonians chapter 5, But of the times and the seasons, brethren, ye have no need that I write unto you. For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night. For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not escape. But ye, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should overtake you as a thief. Ye are all the children of light, and the children of the day: we are not of the night, nor of darkness. Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be sober. For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are drunken in the night. But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation. For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ, Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live together with him. Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even as also ye do. And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labour among you, and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you; And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And be at peace among yourselves. Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. Pray without ceasing. Rejoice evermore. In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. Quench not the Spirit. Despise not prophesyings. Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. Abstain from all appearance of evil. And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ. Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it. Brethren, pray for us. Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss. I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you. Amen.

2nd Thessalonians chapter 1, Paul, and Silvanus, and Timotheus, unto the church of the Thessalonians in God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ: Grace unto you, and peace, from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other aboundeth; So that we ourselves glory in you in the churches of God for your patience and faith in all your persecutions and tribulations that ye endure: Which is a manifest token of the righteous judgment of God, that ye may be counted worthy of the kingdom of God, for which ye also suffer: Seeing it is a righteous thing with God to recompense tribulation to them that trouble you; And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels, In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ: Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power; When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day. Wherefore also we pray always for you, that our God would count you worthy of this calling, and fulfil all the good pleasure of his goodness, and the work of faith with power: That the name of our Lord Jesus Christ may be glorified in you, and ye in him, according to the grace of our God and the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah!
