Big 12 Championship Preview - Cornfield Sports Pod 12/06/2024

With a win against Kansas State last week and a little bit of help from BYU, the Cyclones have made it to the Big 12 title game where they will be playing Arizona State. Arizona State just suffered a major injury on the offensive side of the ball so with Jordyn Tyson out, will it open an opportunity for Iowa State to claim their first Big 12 championship?

Across the rest of college football, there is nothing but complaints regarding how the CFP selection committee is ranking teams, and some of the atrocious bias favoring the SEC and Big Ten conferences. The Big 12 and the ACC are both drawing the short end of the stick.

Cyclone men's basketball acquired a marquee win on Wednesday night at Hilton Coliseum while hosting Marquette and looked dominant while doing so. Meanwhile, the rest of the AP top ten erupted into chaos. The question now is how far do the Cyclones climb?
