Birthright Macedonia Summer 2025 Program Information Session

Learn more about Birthright Macedonia 2025! This Birthright Macedonia Informational Session was led by UMD Director of Macedonia and Europe Gordan Jordanov and joined by UMD Advisory Council Member Peter Dallas, who founded the program, and UMD Board Member and Senior Global Policy and Advocacy Director Filip Jotevski, a former alum of the Birthright Macedonian program. Hear about their experiences and why this program is important to them!

This session includes information about the accommodations, internship, organizational structure, and the heritage weekends included within the program, as well as highlights clips from previous Birthright Macedonia trips.

This year's dates for Birthright Macedonia are June 27-July 18, 2025. The application deadline is May 16, 2025. The $750 application fee covers the cost of the entire program, which includes accommodations and three-weekend trips.

UMD is also partnering with the Summer Youth Orthodox Camp, so Birthright Macedonian participants will have the option to stay another week to be camp counselors for that program. More details about the Summer Youth Orthodox Camp will be coming soon!
