Soon after Devendra Fadnavis took oath as the chief minister of Maharashtra on Thursday, he promised a stable government and said all the Mahayuti allies will “stay and work together".

Acknowledging Shiv Sena president Eknath Shinde and NCP leader Ajit Pawar, who took oath as his two deputy chief ministers, Fadnavis said while their roles in the new government may have changed, their goals remain the same.
