Part Two of our epic interview with Dr. Ed Epperly Author/ Historian and the definitive expert on the case, it's aftermath and the effect of such an obscene interruption in a small bustling town in the early 1900s. Just weeks after the sinking of the Titanic, when people most assuredly were thinking of how quickly life can change, and how very fragile we really are, are now hit with a tragedy much closer to home!
Dr. Ed Epperly has investigated the crime and the trials and tribulations that resulted from the murders, for over 60 years! He is retired from Luther College as Professor of Education, and gives lectors and seminars throughout Iowa on his findings in this case. We take a look at the suspects, F.F. Jones, Lyn Kelly, Mansfield, and the Man from the Train Mueller. The twists and turns not only take you down trails you never thought existed, but also shows us along the way something we often find ourselves saying on this show, even at over 111 years ago, these people, well, "are just like us!" Dr. Epperly's book is available on Ebook and paperback at villiscabook.com
It is the companion to the documentary movie Villisca: Living with a Mystery found in rent on demand or buy the DVD at Villiscamovie.com.
