Biography
Dr. Terry Spain is a highly accomplished U.S. Navy veteran, having proudly served 21 years and achieving the rank of Chief Petty Officer. He is the CEO and founder of Sports First Media, LLC, a leading media company providing real-time sports coverage, news, and analysis across digital platforms. In addition, Dr. Spain is the Chief Executive Officer of Terry Spain Consulting, LLC, where he specializes in diversity and leadership training, motivational speaking, mentoring, and team building. His exceptional skills have attracted the attention of esteemed institutions such as the White House, Camp David, and the Naval Academy, where he has conducted training sessions and provided insights on leadership, diversity, and team dynamics.

A seasoned sports commentator, Dr. Spain is renowned for his expert analysis and keen insight into some of the world’s most prominent sports leagues, including the NBA, NFL, UFL and NCAA. His deep understanding of sports dynamics and meticulous attention to detail enhance the viewing experience, making his commentary both engaging and informative for a global audience. Dr. Spain is also a proud member of Florida Citrus Sports and a Life Member of the National Sports Media Association and a board member for the esteemed Bob Feller Act of Valor Foundation.

Beyond his contributions to sports media, Dr. Spain is dedicated to mentoring and leadership development. He has inspired and guided countless athletes to excel both on and off the field. His commitment to personal growth is demonstrated in his two influential books, Hey Young Man! and Just Lead, as well as in the creation of the "Kenyan Young Men Mentorship Summit" in Eldoret, Kenya, where nearly 200 young men were empowered with essential life skills and leadership development tools.

Dr. Spain's unwavering commitment to civil rights and community service has earned him numerous accolades, including the NAACP Roy Wilkins Renown Service Award in 2014, recognizing his exceptional contributions to both military and civilian sectors. In 2023, he was honored with The Presidential Lifetime Achievement Award for his lifelong dedication to service. Dr. Spain holds an honorary Doctorate of Philosophy in Entrepreneurship and Business
Administration from Trinity International University School of Business, a Master's degree in Organizational Leadership with a Concentration in Civic Engagement from Claremont Lincoln University, and a Bachelor's degree from Thomas Edison State University
