Expect temperatures to warm a few degrees with high, thin passing cirrus clouds this afternoon. That means a return to highs just above average, with 97 in Bakersfield today, 95 in Lake Isabella, 87 in Tehachapi, 85 in Frazier Park and the 100s out in Ridgecrest, California City and Edwards Air Force Base.
