TOUR: Mérida, Mexico - Centro, The Cathedral, Cochinita, + Chit-Chat

Join me as I travel across the heart of Mérida's Centro District over the last two Thursday evenings, including Thanksgiving.

After purchasing a few cigars, I visited Katún, a restaurant that serves traditional Yucatecan cuisine. The following Thursday, I visited La Chaya Maya, another restaurant that serves the local fare. Both were great, although La Chaya Maya is a must visit if you come to Mérida.

I also walked all over Centro and finally went inside the main part of the Catedral de San Ildefonso, aka the Mérida Cathedral. It is the second oldest cathedral in the Americas, and it was amazing to finally see the inside of it. Previously, I had only been to a side chapel for the English language Mass.

I hope you enjoy this little diversion from the normal Killstream material. Even though the camera stuttering kinda made me angry when I saw the footage, I decided to release it anyway.

I'm sorry I missed the Wednesday, December 4th, 2024 Killstream. I will be back with a full show on Friday and may do some IRL on Thursday morning.
