Brian Thompson, CEO of UnitedHealthcare, was fatally shot in New York City on December 4, 2024. The incident took place near the Hilton Midtown, just before an investor conference. Authorities described it as a premeditated attack, with the suspect fleeing on a E-Bike.

Police are investigating the motive, and a reward has been offered for information. Thompson, 50, had led the health and insurance giant since 2021.
