New Houthi Alliance spells DOUBLE TROUBLE For Israel!

Right, so the Houthis of Yemen, or Ansar Allah if you prefer, are diversifying and all of it spells trouble for Israel as they are now building their own alliances outside of the so called Iranian led Axis of Resistance as well as within it, to the point they’re no sufficiently close enough to at least one ally, that they have begun embarking on co-ordinated action, which is seeing attacks on pro Israel movements coming from two distinctly different directions, as they have now formally allied themselves with Islamic Resistance in Iraq.
With the Houthis in Yemen attacking Israel from the south and strikes from Islamic Resistance on Israel coming from Iraq to the East, this new alliance, less than a month old has certainly been shaped by the relations both groups have with Iran and within the so-called Axis of Resistance, but having now conducted three joint strikes on Israel between them, they are also now demonstrating successful independent actions from Iran too, which undermines western narratives that Iran are behind everything, but also shows that matters for Israel continue to worsen as those opposed to their genocide find new and innovative ways to hold them accountable where others fail to.
Right, so it’s double trouble for Israel now as Ansar Allah, the Houthis in Yemen have formed an alliance with Islamic Resistance in Iraq and although they were both broadly aligned anyway, both being part of the Axis of Resistance of Iranian affiliated groups, Iran’s proxies as Western news outlets like to call them, they weren’t necessarily working in tangent with each other under the Axis, they aren’t exactly geographically close after all, the full length of Saudi Arabia lies between them and they aren’t exactly main players in this Middle East crisis, broadly sympathetic with the plight of the Palestinians, but not proactively so.
Still, co-ordinated action is still perfectly possible and this is what we’ve seen since the start of this month, with three separate attacks on Israel having been mounted by Islamic Resistance and the Houthis, as this Cradle excerpt of a statement by Houthis spokesman Yahya Saree shows:
‘“The Yemeni Armed Forces, in cooperation with the Islamic Resistance in Iraq, carried out three military operations against the Israeli enemy during the past 48 hours,” said Yahya Saree, spokesman of the Sanaa government’s army, which is merged with Yemen’s Ansarallah resistance movement.
The joint operations are as follows: “Two operations targeting two Israeli targets in northern occupied Palestine with a number of drones, and the third operation targeting a vital target in the Umm al-Rashrash (Eilat) area with a number of drones.”
“We will continue with the Iraqi resistance fighters to respond to the crimes of the Israeli enemy against our brothers in the Gaza Strip,” the Yemeni statement went on to say, adding that “these operations will not stop until the aggression stops and the siege on the Gaza Strip is lifted.”'
The first two of these attacks in what the Houthis refer to as northern occupied Palestine, which is northern Israel, the Houthis don’t recognise Israeli statehood, are the first strikes on northern Israel since the ceasefire with Lebanon came into effect, because Lebanon and Hezbollah are meeting the terms of the ceasefire, as Israel have breached it over 100 times in just 5 days.
Where Benjamin Netanyahu has urged his people displaced in the north to return to their homes in safety now, where they have complained that their government haven’t finished the job in Lebanon, have lost the battle with Hezbollah, here we have it shown that even if you get peace with Lebanon, northern Israel remains a target for others, in this case drone strikes that likely came from Iraq, they only need cross southern Syrian airspace, which you might figure is taking some doing given what Syria is dealing with, but more on that particular issue in a moment, the third strike on the southern Israeli port of Eilat more likely to have been the Houthis, Eilat has been a favourite target of theirs as has any shipping attempting to come and go from there and so effective have the Houthis been in this, that the port has declared bankruptcy after the first 8 months of the genocide on Gaza and the response from Palestinian sympathisers like the Houthis, to which I thought isn’t it nice that Israel can keep on shelling out more and more cash they don’t have on weapons from the US, but have none to support their own essential infrastructure, when their economy is so dependent on sea trade. It’s little wonder Israel faces economic disaster, but when you’re wrapped in cotton wool and swaddled by the west like Israel is, you can probably imagine Netanyahu figures Israel’s economy won’t be allowed to fall, the US taxpayer will provide as it always does.
Fundamentally, if Israel thought they were going to get an easier time of things with their ceasefire in Lebanon, Islamic Resistance and the Houthis have said forget it. Shipping in the Red Sea has continued to be targeted as well and it is particularly notable that these three strikes by the Houthis and Islamic Resistance came at the same time the Israel and Turkish backed Syrian rebel groups led by the former Syrian branch of Al-Qaeda, Hayat Tahir al-Sham, thankfully shortened to HTS, launched their assaults against the Syrian regime of Bashar Al-Assad, a move that really should give the world pause for thought when it comes to Turkey, not clear the other day when I covered these attacks in Syria of Turkish involvement at that point, but it seems clear that they are involved and for all of Turkish leader Recep Erdogan’s condemnation of Israel and alleged support for Palestine, he’s perfectly happy to align with Israel against Syria, making you wonder how deep his actual sympathies for Palestine actually run – they might be rather shallow. Choices. This was a poor one.
Now all of this is notable, because Iraq are also beefing up the Syrian border to prevent HTS overspilling into Iraq, the Popular Mobilisation Units, or PMU are involved in this, and this group is actually a collective of some 67 regional factions within Iraq, which as the PMU are recognised as a branch if Iraq’s military, so unlike Islamic Resistance, they have governmental recognition in Iraq, yet are loosely enough connected to the government - they still answer directly to Iraq’s Prime Minister – but are so loosely affiliated, despite the military links, that they can still count amongst their allies, the likes of Islamic Resistance, the likes of Hezbollah, the likes of the Houthis and it is for this reason that the US, as well as the UAE and Japan designate some of the constituent groups of this wing of Iraq’s military as terrorist groups.
Now the PMU formed 10 years ago to face down the threat of ISIS, which of course came out of Al-Qaeda, therefore these Israeli and Turkish backed former Al-Qaeda rebels warmongering in Syria right now, are very much the enemy for the PMU. Whilst the PMU are securing the Iraqi Syrian border, Islamic Resistance therefore are in theory freed up to keep attacking Israel and the drone strikes they’ve made in northern Israel are likely in no small part being made possible by the actions of the PMU, as well as the Russian and Syrian forces engaging with HTS, all of whom are broadly speaking anti Israel at this point. Russia is a close ally of Iran and therefore will support the Axis. With Russia now helping Syria, the pushback against the rebels who had taken control of Aleppo seems to be turning the tide, and so with Israel’s rebels now getting the tables turned on them in Syria, Israel themselves are also having to contend with joint operations now being launched against them by the Houthis and Islamic Resistance and in an area they figured was now safe.
Again it has to be reiterated that the obvious conclusion, the way to end all of this is for Israel to get out of Gaza, but for as long as this genocide continues and wider war attempted for no better reason than Netanyahu keeping himself in power, it’s unlikely to end here just yet.
Of course one major reason we know that’s going to be the case is because Hezbollah have finally snapped over Israel not abiding by the terms of their own ceasefire on iota, it now on it’s last legs, it appearing to have been nothing more than a big fat US con to stop Hezbollah attacking Israel, whist Israel continues to strike Lebanon with impunity. Well they aren’t having it and nor should they and you can get all the latest on that particular angle to the Israel Hezbollah ceasefire in this video recommendation here as your suggested next watch, please do support the channel by hitting like, share and subscribe if you haven’t already done so, new content out daily and I’ll hopefully catch you on the next vid.
