Benjamin Netanyahu, The Prime Minister of Israel, expressed gratitude to Donald Trump on Tuesday for a social media post in which the US president-elect demanded the release of hostages in Gaza on his first day in office.
Netanyahu added, "I want to thank President Trump for his strong statement yesterday (Monday) about the need for Hamas to release the hostages," following Trump's threat of "hell to pay" if the captives were not freed by the time he returns to office in January.
