Minecraft 1.18.2 | Hardcore | World 1 | No-F3 | RSG | Vanilla

A few days after my first Hard Survival world came to an inglorious close, I started in on the first of my Hardcore runs. This was to follow the same basic rules as the Hard Survival world - base wherever the spawn location was, no-F3, RSG, no-F5, and the world deleted upon death (which hardcore encourages anyway). As the first of the hardcore runs, there were no mods present.

Compared to how my Hard Survival play through went, I remembered how to play Minecraft. Even if the starting location was a snowy biome. Viewing the world in spectator mode after my death showed just how arbitrary and unlucky things can be when you choose to go one direction instead of another when starting out. I could have found a village on the first morning, but didn’t. Seeing a kitty so soon in the world should have hinted to a nearby village.

I was doing quite well, up until I got myself into a little bit of trouble, fell into a pit, and died.

This world is now committed to the great bit bucket in the sky.
