Sabotage in the Baltic Sea? NATO on High Alert After Undersea Cables Cut | Vantage with Palki Sharma

As two communication cables were mysteriously severed in the Baltic Sea, NATO launched one of northern Europe’s largest naval exercises, highlighting the region’s growing vulnerabilities. A Chinese bulk carrier, Yi Peng 3, is under suspicion for dragging its anchor along the seabed, causing the damage. While China denies sabotage and offers to assist in the investigation, Russia also refutes any involvement. With recent incidents targeting Baltic undersea infrastructure, the region has become a focal point for tensions between NATO, Russia, and China.
