When All Is Quiet (Nu Metal) - HotPotMusic

The clock no longer ticks away,
The tides have lost their song.
The air is still here but the skies are grey,
Where did it all go wrong?

The fields once swayed in quiet breeze,
Now hold a solemn tone.
The stories whispered by the trees,
Are lost, and we’re alone.

When all is quiet, nothing stirs,
No laughter left to heal the hurt.
A silence falls, so vast, so wide,
As we hold on to what’s inside.

The roads we walked are overgrown,
With memories and dust.
A place we called our only home,
Have slipped away from us.

The stars above still softly gleam,
A vigil for the end.
Reminding us of fleeting dreams,
Of all we couldn’t mend.

When all is quiet, nothing stirs,
No laughter left to heal the hurt.
A silence falls, so vast, so wide,
As we hold on to what’s inside.

If there’s a way to start again,
A spark beneath the stone,
Would we remember how it felt,
To know we weren’t alone?

Would voices rise and build anew,
A song beyond the pain?
Or would the stillness keep its throne,
Unbroken in its reign?

And so we stand, as shadows fade,
A fleeting trace remains.
A love that lived, a path we made,
Now lost to time’s refrain.

When all is quiet, we will know,
The seeds we’ve sown, the lives we’ve grown.
And though it ends, we’ll tightly hold last hope,
Of every word we left unsaid.

When all is quiet...
When all is quiet...

We will find each other again.
