Tom Jones, Tina Turner & Kim Carnes - I'll Be Here Where the Heart Is (1983)

In 1983, producers approached Kim Carnes (of Bette Davis Eyes fame) and her songwriting team to pen an emotional ballad for their upcoming feature film, "Flashdance."

What we got was a beautiful and heartfelt ballad that impressed two other legendary singers so much that they added it to their own setlists in 1983, Tom Jones and Tina Turner.

Unfortunately, none of the singers scored a hit with this song. But, we are left with some amazing and emotional performances by truly unique voices recorded live in '83. Enjoy each of these classic artist's take on a melody and phrasing.
