Our TOPIC: WHAT HATRED DOES TO HATERS.

Today's SCRIPTURE: Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled; Hebrews 12 verse 15.

Our THOUGHT FOR THE DAY: To walk in hate is to walk with satan; and to walk with satan is to end with him in hellfire.

Love is a major foundation for godly character. On the other hand, hate is a foundation for ungodly character. To walk in love is to walk with God, because God is Love (1st John chapter 4 verse 8); and to walk with God is to end with God.

On the contrary, to walk in hate is to walk with satan, and to walk with satan is to end with him in hellfire. That will never be your portion, in Jesus’ Name.

Beloved, to avoid ending with satan in hellfire, it is important to make up your mind to love like God and refuse to hate like the devil. This is because hate is poisonous, and its poison affects the person and the personality of the hateful. The poison of hate also spreads into the environment and society at large. If left unmanaged, it ultimately impacts its victim.

One dangerous consequence of hate on haters is that it alters their personality. They may suddenly realize that they are no longer who they used to be because they have been negatively affected by the bile of their bitterness. Thus, hatred is truly poisonous.

Another consequence of hate is that the person who hates becomes focused on their victims. Haters make the hated their subject and topic of hate. They often align with others who share their perceived grievances. For example, if they hate Mr. B and discover that Mr. A also hates Mr. B, they may join forces with Mr. A to harbor resentment toward Mr. B together.

Beloved, this is not how to live!

Make up your mind to refuse to hate anyone, regardless of what they may have done to you. Ask God to baptise you with His love.

Remember this: To walk in hate is to walk with satan; and to walk with satan is to end with him in hellfire.

Take this ASSIGNMENTS with you:
#1. Refuse to walk with satan through hatred so you don’t end with him in hellfire.
#2. Avoid hatred, the character that attracts satan to a person. Yes sir!

Our PRAYER today: Father, I refuse to walk with satan through hatred, so I don’t end with him. I ask that You uproot any root of bitterness and hatred in me, Lord, in Jesus Name. Amen!

Today's Bible DAILY READING: from the book of Ephesians chapter 6 Philippians 2.

We start with the book of Ephesians chapter 6, Children, obey your parents in the Lord, for this is right. “Honor thy father and mother,” which is the first commandment with promise: “that it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.” And ye fathers, provoke not your children to wrath, but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. Servants, be obedient to those who are your masters according to the flesh, with fear and trembling, in singleness of your heart, as unto Christ, not with eyeservice as men pleasers, but as the servants of Christ, doing the will of God from the heart, with good will doing service, as to the Lord and not to men, knowing that whatsoever good thing any man doeth, the same shall he receive from the Lord, whether he be bond or free. And ye masters, do the same things unto them, forbearing threatening, knowing that your Master also is in Heaven; neither is there respect of persons with Him. Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. Put on the whole armor of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. Above all, take the shield of faith, wherewith ye shall be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked. And take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the Word of God, praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplication for all saints. And pray for me, that utterance may be given unto me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the Gospel, for which I am an ambassador in bonds, that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak. But that ye also may know my affairs and how I do, Tychicus, a beloved brother and faithful minister in the Lord, shall make known to you all things. I have sent him unto you for the same purpose, that ye might know our affairs, and that he might comfort your hearts. Peace be to the brethren, and love with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ. Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Hallelujah!

Philippians chapter 1, Paul and Timothy, the servants of Jesus Christ, To all the saints in Christ Jesus who are at Philippi, with the bishops and deacons: Grace be unto you and peace from God our Father and from the Lord Jesus Christ. I thank my God upon every remembrance of you, for your fellowship in the Gospel from the first day until now, always in my every prayer for you all making request with joy, being confident of this very thing, that He who hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the Day of Jesus Christ. It is meet for me to think this of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as, both in my bonds and in the defense and confirmation of the Gospel, ye are all partakers of my grace. For God is my record how greatly I long for you all in the compassion of Jesus Christ. And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment, that ye may approve things that are excellent, and that ye may be sincere and without offense until the Day of Christ, being filled with the fruits of righteousness which are by Jesus Christ, unto the glory and praise of God. But I would ye should understand, brethren, that the things which have happened unto me have turned out unto the furtherance of the Gospel, so that my bonds in Christ are manifest in all the palace and in all other places; and many of the brethren in the Lord, waxing confident by my bonds, are much bolder to speak the Word without fear. Some indeed preach Christ even out of envy and strife, and some also out of good will. The one preaches Christ out of contention and not sincerely, supposing to add affliction to my bonds; but the other out of love, knowing that I am set for the defense of the Gospel. What then? Notwithstanding, every way, whether in pretense or in truth, Christ is preached; and I therein do rejoice, yea, and will rejoice. For I know that this shall turn out to my salvation through your prayer and the support of the Spirit of Jesus Christ, according to my earnest expectation and my hope that in nothing shall I be ashamed, but that with all boldness, as always so now also, Christ shall be magnified in my body, whether it be by life or by death. For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain. But if I live in the flesh, this is the fruit of my labor; yet what I shall choose, I know not. For I am in a strait between the two, having a desire to depart and to be with Christ, which is far better; And having this confidence, I know that I shall abide and continue with you all for your furtherance and joy in faith, nevertheless to abide in the flesh is more needful for you. that your rejoicing for me may be more abundant in Jesus Christ by my coming to you again. Only let your manner of living be as becometh the Gospel of Christ, that whether I come and see you or else am absent, I may hear of your affairs that ye stand fast in one spirit, with one mind, striving together for the faith of the Gospel, and terrified in nothing by your adversaries, which is to them an evident token of perdition, but to you of salvation, and that from God. For unto you it is given on behalf of Christ, not only to believe in Him, but also to suffer for His sake, having the same conflict which ye saw in me, and now hear to be in me. Hallelujah!

Philippians chapter 2, If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any tenderness and mercies, fulfill ye my joy, that ye be like minded, having the same love, being of one accord and of one mind. Let nothing be done through strife or vainglory, but in lowliness of mind let each esteem the other better than himself. Look not every man to his own things, but every man also to the things of others. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, and took upon Him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men. And being found in the fashion of a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient unto death—even the death of the cross. Therefore God also hath highly exalted Him, and given Him a name which is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in Heaven and things on earth and things under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. Therefore, my beloved, as ye have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. For it is God who worketh in you, both to will and to do of His good pleasure. Do all things without murmuring and disputing, that ye may be blameless and unoffending, the sons of God, without rebuke in the midst of a crooked and perverse nation, among whom ye shine as lights in the world, holding forth the Word of Life, that I may rejoice in the Day of Christ that I have not run in vain, neither labored in vain. Yea, and if I be offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am joyful and rejoice with you all. But I trust in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy shortly unto you, that I also may be comforted when I know of your state; For the same cause also be ye joyful, and rejoice with me. for I have no man like minded, who will naturally care for your state. For all seek their own, not the things which are Jesus Christ’s. But ye know the proof of him, how as a son with a father he hath served with me in the Gospel. Him therefore I hope to send presently, as soon as I shall see how it will go with me. But I trust in the Lord that I also myself shall come shortly. Yet I have thought it necessary to send to you Epaphroditus, my brother and companion in labor and fellow soldier, but your messenger and he that ministered to my wants. For he longed after you all and was full of heaviness, because ye had heard that he had been sick. For indeed he was sick nigh unto death, but God had mercy on him, and not on him only, but on me also, lest I should have sorrow upon sorrow. I sent him therefore the more carefully, that when ye see him again ye may rejoice, and I may be the less sorrowful. Receive him therefore in the Lord with all gladness, and hold such in high honor, because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not having regard for his own life, to supply what was lacking in your service toward me.
