German Chancellor Olaf Scholz has been in Kyiv on his second trip to Ukraine since Russia's full-scale invasion. The chancellor announced a new 650-million euro weapons package for Ukraine - which includes air defense systemy. He said Germany will remain Ukraine's strongest supporter in Europe, and would be at its side for as long as necessary. Backing from the U-S - Kyiv's biggest military supplier - has been thrown into doubt by Donald Trump's return to the White House in January. With analysis from DW's Max Zander and Michaela Küfner, and from security expert Domitilla Sagramoso from King's College London.
