Joe Biden Just Handed Donald Trump The Mother Of All Mandates

Posted • December 2, 2024: Donald Trump has to be sitting at Mar-a-Lago right now laughing into his Diet Coke as the Democrat Party and their bumbling leader just keep on racking up the "Ls." Losses for Democrats at this point are political wins for the president-elect, his team, and the Republican Party. It hasn't always been Trump's practice to stay quiet while his enemies destroy themselves, but he seems to be taking a mostly sit-back-and-wait approach to watching Joe Biden set flame to the rotted wood and sticks that currently make up the Democrat Party. When he feels like it, Trump may take a poker and push around the embers of his enemies, but, really, he just has to let them continue to self-immolate. You hear a lot of pundits talk about "political capital," that invisible yet valuable currency that politicians have to spend in order to get his or her agenda advanced or nominees approved.

It was thought that Trump, who was handed gobs of political capital on November 5th, would have to spend some of his capital to get his more controversial nominees, like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. and Pete Hegseth, approved by the GOP-led Senate. This may still be true, but Joe Biden just gave him something even better: The mother of all mandates. Donald Trump was already looking at entering his second term with a pretty solid mandate from American voters, who gave him the go-ahead to make good on his campaign promises. He won both the popular and the electoral votes, and his party will control both chambers of Congress come January 3, 2025. As of Sunday morning, Donald Trump was sitting pretty. As of Sunday evening, Donald Trump was enjoying -- to borrow some of Sen. John Fetterman's (D-PA) words -- "a god-tier level" mandate. All wrapped up in a nice bow by Joe Biden.

Joe Biden's pardoning of his son, Hunter Biden, further diminishes an already-neutered Democrat Party and empowers Donald Trump to an extent we probably haven't seen in modern times. No more can Democrats cry, "No one is above the law!" because their "big guy" just blew that idea to smithereens. Even better, Joe Biden and his fiercely lying press secretary, Karine Jean-Pierre, have just confirmed that the Department of Justice is corrupt.

Reporter: "He's saying his own Justice Department is broken."

KJP: "He believes in the Justice Department."

Reporter: "He just said it's infected with politics!"

KJP: …………

Reporter: "How many selective prosecutions are there at the DOJ?"

KJP: I can't speak to that.

They really couldn't have done a better job rolling out the red carpet for Trump 2.0, could they? Oh, and all that talk by the left that scary Donald Trump will break decades of "norms?" LOL. Consider them all broken beyond repair, burnt to the ground by and alongside the Democrat Party. Team Trump has basically just been given carte blanche to do what they were elected to do. Joe Biden's pardoning of his convict son, Hunter, was the own goal the Democrats didn't really need at this point, but Joe just couldn't help himself. He may well have, at some point, intended to actually let Hunter suffer the consequences of his actions, but post-election Biden -- who is the lamest of lame ducks -- couldn't care less at this point. His own party gave him the shaft, and he was more than happy to return fire in kind. (…)
