FBI hunters are the hunted
By Terry A. Hurlbut
Two stories over the weekend signal what could be a total ankle-suspension-and-shakedown at the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI). First, a congressman told current FBI Director Christopher Wray that not only should he tender his resignation, but also that he should stay close to Washington, D.C. – and expect to talk about the January 6 Event, its multiple false-flag pseudo-operation aspects, and the myriad of people still imprisoned without trial after it. Then, early Saturday evening, President-elect Donald Trump dropped a thunderclap. He nominated Kash Patel as the new Director, ending weeks of fruitless speculation on who would get that job. Already that announcement has many current and former FBI leaders and agents aghast.
New broom at the FBI
Kashyap “Kash” Patel was on every Trump supporter’s short list for the FBI. When ugly rumors surfaced that former Rep. Mike Rogers (R-Mich.) would get the job, those supporters cried out in alarm. (Rogers lost his bid to enter the Senate, to Democrat Ellie Slotkin. But if accounts of him are accurate, he probably would have voted with the Democrats in every matter except decision of Senate control.)
Trump made the announcement on Truth Social:
I am proud to announce that Kashyap “Kash” Patel will serve as the next Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation. Kash is a brilliant lawyer, investigator, and “America First” fighter who has spent his career exposing corruption, defending Justice, and protecting the American People. He played a pivotal role in uncovering the Russia, Russia, Russia Hoax, standing as an advocate for truth, accountability, and the Constitution. Kash did an incredible job during my First Term, where he served as Chief of Staff at the Department of Defense, Deputy Director of National Intelligence, and Senior Director for Counterterrorism at the National Security Council. Kash has also tried over 60 jury trials. This FBI will end the growing crime epidemic in America, dismantle the migrant criminal gangs, and stop the evil scourge of human and drug trafficking across the Border. Kash will work under our great Attorney General, Pam Bondi, to bring back Fidelity, Bravery, and Integrity to the FBI.

Trump’s supporters seem to agree. If anything could be better than to dismantle the FBI and return its law-enforcement functions to the Pinkerton Detective Agency, the naming of Kash Patel is that something. (In fact a former FBI Deputy Director is afraid Kash Patel will do just that; more on that below.)
Jordan Conradson at The Gateway Pundit announced the appointment about half an hour later. He also carried a link to Jim Hoft’s earlier profile of Patel appearing with Maria Bartiromo last Sunday. Patel said then that only complete exposure of the corruption at the FBI would restore trust in it.
Patel himself said in reply:
It is the honor of a lifetime to be nominated by President Trump to serve as Director of the FBI. Together, we will restore integrity, accountability, and equal justice to our justice system and return the FBI to its rightful mission: protecting the American people.

Trump’s supporters are jubilant. Trevor Noah (We Love Trump by Noah) looks forward to a “24/7 Declass.” He also shared two posts on X from other equally jubilant supporters:

KASH PATEL WILL BE THE NEXT FBI DIRECTOR. DEEP STATE OFFICIALLY PUT ON NOTICE.

The staff at CDM (“Creative Destruction Media”) sounded only one note that anyone could call remotely sour. They asked whether the FBI should continue to exist.
Horrors, cry recognizable Deep State figures
Several key Deep State figures, whose names none can fail to recognized, are shuddering at the prospect. Andrew McCabe, former FBI Deputy Director, expressed alarm a week and a half ago (November 22). Even Patel’s potential appointment as McCabe’s replscement dismayed McCabe. In an interview with CNN’s Kaitlan Collins, he whined:
No part of the FBI’s mission is safe with Kash Patel in any position of leadership in the FBI and certainly not in the deputy director’s job. So just as a… as an example, the deputy director job in the FBI is unique because, of course, the director is a political appointee and the deputy director is typically a senior FBI agent, somebody who spent their entire career learning about the FBI, understanding its people and doing its work. So the deputy director actually runs the FBI on a day to day basis. You’re essentially the chief operating officer.
I can tell you from my own experience, there is no way I could have successfully performed in that role without having spent the first ten years of my career doing criminal work in the FBI and the next 10 years doing national security work. The scope of authority is enormous. I think I had about 78 or 80 direct reports when I served as FBI director, deputy director, 56 of those people ran entire field offices. So you are enmeshed in every aspect of the FBI’s work if you enter into that position with nothing more than a desire to disrupt and destroy the organization, … there is a lot of damage someone like Kash Patel could do in a position like deputy director at the FBI you mentioned that director is a political job puts it in there.

McCabe lost his Deputy Director’s job after an Inspector General caught him out in lies about media leaks. He sued. Of course, when President Joe Biden took office, he settled with McCabe.
After learning that Kash Patel now would be the Director, McCabe cried out in terror:
It’s a terrible development for the men and women of the FBI and also for the nation that depends on a highly functioning, professional, independent Federal Bureau of Investigation. The fact that Kash Patel is profoundly unqualified for this job is not even like a matter for debate. So I think what we should really be thinking about right now is what does this signal in terms of Donald Trump’s intent for the FBI? The installation (or the nomination, I guess we should say at this point) of Kash Patel as FBI director can only possibly be a plan to disrupt, to dismantle, to distract the FBI and to possibly use it as a tool for the president’s political agenda.

Actually, the FBI ceased to be an independent agency upon the death of J. Edgar Hoover. But on the day of the appointment, X influencer “End Wokeness” recalled a statement Patel once made:
I’d shut down the FBI Hoover Building on day 1 and open a Deep State museum.

Ambassador John Bolton said something breathtakingly stupid – indeed, Projection 101:
Trump has nominated Kash Patel to be his Lavrentiy Beria. Fortunately, the FBI is not the NKVD. The Senate should reject this nomination 100-0.
John Bolton

Mr. Ambassador, the FBI has been the NKVD, and indeed the KGB Second Chief Directorate, since before Biden took office. It engineered the false-flag pseudo-operation that was the January 6 event.
Vice-President-elect J. D. Vance responded:
John Bolton has been wrong about everything so I guess Kash must be pretty awesome.

On an MSNBC panel, panelist Hayes Brown said:
Kash Patel as FBI director would be like if you crossed Alex Jones with J. Edgar Hoover in terms of just how much he would want to ignore precedent and the constraints that have been put on the FBI over the years. With all of the conspiracy theorizing, all of the eagerness to fan the flames of the worst instincts of President Trump, put into power, those two things should never mix. Kash Patel has a vote, and he is a couple of votes away from that happening once he is put before the Senate.

Cassandra MacDonald of The Gateway Pundit had more, from another panelist, April Ryan. She began with making accusations against January 6 protesters – accusations of a gratuitously disgusting nature, which do not bear repeating. Then she said:
In the midst of this, you have a man who is now nominated to head the Federal Bureau of Investigation, that is supposed to uphold the Constitution. The mission is to protect the American people and uphold the Constitution, and protect the American people against crimes that are against U.S. laws. Where does all of this fit in with January 6th? January 6th is the juxtaposition of the Constitution. Many think it was treasonous.
About those allegations
Yes, it was – but not how she says. It was a false-flag pseudo-operation, and the real traitors were in the FBI. And until yesterday, no one had ever alleged the disgusting things Ryan alleged – not even before the January 6 Committee.
More than an outcry seems to be taking place, however. Dinesh D’Souza shared to Locals.com, rumors of “mass resignations” at the FBI and the Department of Justice. And even before the Patel announcement, Rep. Clay Higgins (R-La.) gave this dire warning to incumbent FBI Director Christopher Wray:
Mr. Wray: Remain close to DC. Your presence will be commanded. Repeatedly. In this Holiest of seasons, as you box up your mementos of oppression, may visions of the thousands of American J6 families you’ve destroyed dance through your head. Merry Christmas. Higgins out.
https://x.com/RepClayHiggins/status/1862925320657289494
And in what might seem to be an unrelated case, President Biden pardoned his son over the weekend. According to Kristinn Taylor, Biden’s pardon covers:
those offenses against the United States which he has committed or may have committed or taken part in during the period from January 1, 2014 through December 1, 2024,…
Lay aside the obvious questions of nepotism and a President placing his son above the law. The Maidan Revolution took place in Ukraine in 2014. Might Biden be afraid of investigations into U.S. complicity in that revolution, investigations that could touch his family? True, CNAV hasn’t the slightest proof. But Kash Patel might. This could explain why the FBI jumped on the Hunter Biden Laptop story – to discredit it. More than electoral embarrassment might have been at stake. Suppose that laptop has information about not only venal corruption in Ukraine, but also interference in Ukraine’s affairs of state?
Of course, now that he has a pardon, Hunter Biden would no longer be able to “plead the Fifth” before Congressional investigators – nor before an FBI returning to its proper mission.
Today the FBI; tomorrow the Deep State
Many at the FBI have much to answer for, and they know it. For all we know, so have the legacy media. The temper tantrums they’re throwing could follow from their habitual ideological corruption – active support of the Deep State. But they could also reflect their fear of exposure of their complicity in:
• False-flag pseudo-operations like the January 6 Event,
• “Color Revolutions” in Ukraine and elsewhere,
• The systematic campaign to scare people into accepting an attack upon themselves with a biological weapon (the COVID vaccines), and
• Attempts to cover up the same, even to direct election interference and facilitation of same.
They might even have had a hand in covering up the involvement of the Bush Dynasty in Texas in the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.
The fear of massive releases of information from the archives of the FBI and other sources, is the only thing that can have prompted those mass resignations. That Joe Biden pardoned his son the day after the announcement of the nomination begs explanation.
Once is happenstance, twice is coincidence, and the third time it’s enemy action.
Ian Fleming
Thus Kash Patel and President-elect Trump need the prayers of patriotic citizens – not only that each man means what he has been saying, but also that they each survive to take his respective office.
