11 Therefore [a]comfort each other and [b]edify one another, just as you also are doing.

GOOD EVENING IN YESHUA EVERYBODY!!!
Sheer encouragement. Just what does that mean? To be someone of true godly encouragement and building others up. I think that really summed up Barnabas, wouldn't you? I say that because I really find Barnabas very interesting, within the book of Acts, because in what you see of him, it's very clear that this man was definitely someone that was “a good man, full of the Holy Spirit and of faith”. That Barnabas was the perfect person God had for this job in Antioch, but also to be one of the first missionaries and in scripture. James Banks describes Barnabas as “Scripture’s best-known encourager”, and he's definitely right.

But I sometimes wonder if I'm someone that's offering sheer encouragement to others. Am I someone who does as this verse above, as well as Colossians 2:2, and II Thessalonians 2:16 says in being a person who offers eternal encouragement to others? These are some of the many things I wonder about myself, and I pray that I am that eternal encouragement, that iron that sharpens iron for another person, just as Barnabas was.

Tonight, my friends, I'd like to share some things from God show me from His Word concerning this very interesting topic, through this vlog I'd like to share with all of you tonight, and I pray that what I share with you, motivates you to want to be a person of encouragement. Come join me in this vlog tonight my friends and learn how to be just that very person! 😊

So, my friends, as I close this post with all of you tonight, I want to leave you with these questions from this morning’s devotional, and I pray that they will challenge and motivate you, to want to be a person of encouragement, not just during this holiday season but every day.

Whom would you like to encourage?

In what ways might you share God's love with them through a kind deed or word?

I invite you to reach out to somebody who is lonely this year, Invite them to share Christmas with you, and let them know that you care. Invite them over for dinner, a cup of coffee, yes even coming to church, but take the time to get to know them, befriend them, and be the support and encouragement that they need. Maybe they could use some food, and you have some to spare. Maybe you know of someone that could help them fix things around their house, their car, or anything else that they need to have fixed. I pray that we start living out not just during this holiday, but every day. Let's ask God to help us offer that “sheer encouragement” to someone not just today but every day!

UNTIL TUESDAY:

HAVE A MARVELOUS EVENING IN CHRIST JESUS!!!
