Winter destroyed the rose

The rose leaves did not have time to wither and fall. Frost froze the petals. Then when it got warmer, the petals thawed but did not come back to life. Dead leaves rotted right on the bush. This disgrace remained in the garden. The wind will soon tear off the leaves. I did not clean it up.
