The Houthis have claimed responsibility for attacking a US destroyer and three military supply ships in the Gulf of Aden on December 1. The US confirmed the attack but reported no injuries or damage, noting that seven Houthi missiles and drones were intercepted. The Houthis have vowed to continue targeting Israeli and American ships in the region until the Gaza war ends.
