7-Year-Old Begs Dad Not To Send Her To Heaven Before Cops Kill Him During Sad Kidnapping & Standoff

Posted • December 2, 2024: A 7-year-old Ohio girl begs her father not to kill her just before police officers shoot and kill him during a standoff “I don’t want to go to heaven today.” Charles Alexander, 43, threatened police during a standoff, yelling that he was armed while telling his daughter Oaklynn, "You’re going to heaven." Oaklynn said "I don’t want to go to heaven today." Charles kidnapped Oaklynn from her grandmother's house on November 11 after unsuccessfully attempting to take her from school. He was later stopped at a traffic stop, but he fled, leading to a police chase south of Interstate 71. Charles was forced to stop in a parking lot after his tires were deflated with stop sticks. The standoff ended when officers shot and killed him. Oaklynn was safely returned to her family the same night.
