With snow comes winter sports!

With the snow finally falling, Northern Michigan Ski Slope operators are finally
able to start preparing to open for the season. Most larger slopes hope to open
by Thanksgiving each year, but the mild fall prevented that. Operators are now
excited not only for the snow but the lower temperatures. That increases their
