Trial by Fire

Today Jim takes us into one of the greatest faceoffs in history: Elijah and the prophets of Ba'al! This triumph in acknowledgement of the true God of creation lead to some major reform. But not before Elijah embarked on a journey.
The previous 3 1/2 years was possibly not what he expected, and yet it all lead up to a moment that we have all heard of.

Today, Jim reminds us that God is in control, and that He always is involved, even in a "Trial by Fire"

We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Our building was originally constructed in 1861 and is the oldest protestant church building in continuous use.
Many people have come and gone throughout the generations, but our goal will always remain: To Serve Jesus only, and learn from His Living Word, the Scriptures.
Our small church body are all admittedly sinners, that openly strive to improve our walk daily, but also understand that we are Redeemed by the shed blood of Christ Jesus and declared innocent in God’s eyes due to Grace Alone!
There is no act of baptism, charity or observation of communion that deems us worthy. No amount of following the law of Moses, or the ever-popular observation of legalism in many churches today that will save us. That is us believing in ourselves, rather than what Christ did for us completely.
