A reflection on two quotes, "Set me like a seal upon thy heart, love is as strong as death" by Viktor Frankl excerpted from the Song of Solomon 8:6 and “...keep her under the arm to protect her and near the heart to love her” by Matthew Henry speaking on the content of Genesis 2:25.
Both quotes speak to the importance of the family structure being build off the the precepts of love and mutual respect for the "womb-man" which is often by-passed and/or blatantly disregarded as an obsolete concept that no longer needs to be instituted in contemporary culture (i.e. as purported by U.S. statistics that illustrate contemporary trends of violence against women).
