POEM 10

A contemplation on the question, "How was your day" and how different people view the question within given relationships. I find it a bit fascinating that some people view it as an absolute necessity while others think of it as an unnecessary nicety that doesn't speak to one's commitment in a relationship while, more others, seem to use it as a form of control (i.e. a method for gaining an accounting of a person's movements and doings as seen in unhealthy dependencies and controlling relationships).
In short, I find it an interesting mechanism in relationships.
